Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE NAICS code 541512 The West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center intends to award a sole source contract to RGI - Informatics LLC, for database support for the PICIS ARK/CIS database installed at VISN 8, currently centralized at Orlando and West Palm. Services include database administration twenty four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, manage the daily SQL data backups, manage synchronized mirroring between Orlando and West Palm Beach and troubleshooting database issues as needed. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which, if received by 07/27/2015 of publication of this notice, shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of information received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Part 13. The anticipated award date is August 31, 2015.
