- Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, disposal, supervision, and incidental related work necessary to install a new stainless steel cable handrail and remove the existing handrail to the balcony/terrace at Leamy Hall at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT. The anticipated construction time is 35 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed; the actual on-site construction time is 7 days. The estimated cost range of this project is between $25,000 and $45,000. A Payment bond will be required if the contract price exceeds $30,000.00. The applicable NAICS code is 238190, with a small business size standard $15.0 million. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 14 July 2015. The tentative date set for submitting quotations is 13 August 2015 at 4:00 PM EST (actual response date is 04 August 2015). This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 15.1, and in accordance with FAR Part 19.5 is 100% set-aside for Small Business (SB) concerns.
