- Potential Sources Sought. The US Army Research Development Engineering Command, Natick Soldier Research Development Engineering Center (RDECOM-NSRDEC) in Natick, MA, is conducting a market survey for engineering technical support services. The Product Manager Force Sustainment Systems, Food Service Equipment Team at NSRDEC has a need for additional engineering technical and test support to support a range of food service equipment programs. The assignments involve a broad range of maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of food service and food service support equipment to include refrigeration and fuel fired appliances as well as mobile planforms that support the systems. Personnel with experience in emerging food service equipment are needed in real-time to support these many projects and customers. Additional skillset includes but are not limited to: The ability to operate fork lift up to 36,000 pounds capacity as well as other material handling equipment, warehouse management and property accountability, construction of shipping containers for test equipment, support of field tests and field equipment at various CONUS sites, and coordination of shipment of equipment. The effort in the area considered 1 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) per year for Engineering Technical Support and Test and Training Support for FY16-20. Proprietary information will not be disclosed outside the U.S. Government. All interested firms, regardless of size are encouraged to respond to this request for information. It should be noted that this is a market survey and not a pre-solicitation notice. No awards will result from this market survey. Nothing shall be construed herein or through the market survey process to commit or obligate the Government to further action as a result of this market survey. Firms responding to this market survey shall bear all risk and expense of any resources used to provide the requested information, and all information submitted in response to this request shall become the property of the Government and will not be returned to the submitter. Respondents must submit their product brochures, technical data, or other information concerning performance within 10 days of this publication.
