- The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is soliciting offers to procure for construction supplies for Division of Transportation, Shiprock, NM. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. A15PS00923, herein cited is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-81. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 237310, Size standards $36.5. Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision and incidentals to deliver the pipe to the BIA, Department Of transportation Shiprock Office, N HWY 491, Bldg# 169 (Behind Wells Fargo), in Shiprock, NM. Delivery can be only be made M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pipes and bands must have certification numbers. Items must be delivered no later than July 31, 2015. VARIATION IN QUANTITY CLAUSE (Apr 1984) (a) a variation in the quantity of any item called for by this contract will not be accepted unless the variation has been caused by conditions of loading, shipping or packing or allowances in manufacturing processes and then only to the extent, if any, specified in paragraph (b) of this clause. (b) The permissible variation shall be limited to: 20% increase, 20% decrease. This increase or decrease shall apply to all line items in the contract.
