Description
Amendment 2 See attached amendment 2 and questions and answers below. 1. What is the required exposure area? Response: Internal area a minimum of 10"x10". 2. What is the shape/size of the test articles (to evaluate the spacial uniformity of simulated solar radiation within the exposure area?) Response: test articles will be plants sprouts spike with virus and/or bacteria. 3. Is there a required intensity level over a specific solar radiation bandpass (1000 W/m2 - 295-2800nm - for example)? Response: The instrument is needed to simulate sunlight radiation from winter to summer (between -12 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius), mimic humidity and UV light for the same conditions. 4. The critical spectrum is mentioned as 300-420nm - however is a full spectrum radiation source (including ultraviolet/visible/infrared radiation) required? Response: The instrument is needed to simulate sunlight radiation from winter to summer (between -12 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius), mimic humidity and UV light for the same conditions. 5. What is the interior size of the chamber? Response: 10"x10" 6. What is the size of the sunlight array area? Response: 10"x10" 7. What is the size, maximum weight and material type of items inside the chamber? Response: the material size is between 1-10 inches, weight= 50g, type= plant sprouts. 8. What is the temperature range required? Is ambient to 60C acceptable? Response: minimum range of -12ºC to 50ºC. 9. What does the typical temp/humidity profile look like? Response: temperature will be at the ranges specified. Humidity is 20% to 90% 10. Water or air cooled condensing? Response: Air cooled condensing. 11. Assuming you have 240V/3ph/60 power? Response: 120v or 240v is acceptable. 12. Will you run the sunlight array during humidity testing also? Response: Yes.
