Solicitation number W31P4Q-15-R-0151 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ); however, the US Army Contracting Command - Redstone intends to issue a Sole Source award to Sirius XM Satellite Radio Weather, New York, NY for the Sirius XM Satellite Radio Weather Subscriptions. Authority Cited: Statutory authority permitting Other Than Full and Open competition is 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(c) quote mark Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. quote mark The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular, FAC 2005-68. The contract line item numbers and items, quantities and units of measure are: CLIN 0001 Base Award Weather subscription of Sirius XM Radio, account number 1-4533714911, for the following radio ID numbers MMXKJ0R3, 3A89B2MU, PLM9B20T, TX09B2HQ, QRJBT006, YMTMJ0CQ, 2K99B245, TD8MK0HY, KA6NJ0MQ for a period of 1 year from date of award. CLIN 0002 Option I Weather subscription of Sirius XM Radio, account number 1-4533714911, for the following radio ID numbers MMXKJ0R3, 3A89B2MU, PLM9B20T, TX09B2HQ, QRJBT006, YMTMJ0CQ, 2K99B245, TD8MK0HY, KA6NJ0MQ for a period of 1 year from date of award of this Option. Description of requirement for the items to be acquired is as follows: Weather subscription of Sirius XM Radio, account number 1-4533714911, for the following radio ID numbers MMXKJ0R3, 3A89B2MU, PLM9B20T, TX09B2HQ, QRJBT006, YMTMJ0CQ, 2K99B245, TD8MK0HY, KA6NJ0MQ. Delivery is required by 6 August 2015, and will be FOB destination to Redstone Test Center, Building 4880, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898, ATTN: Marilyn Bradley 256-876-8776. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial and 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The clause 52.204-7, Central Contractors Registration applies to this solicitation. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer.
