- Contract D13PC00232 provides support for the Department of the Interior's (DOI) Integrated Reporting of Wildland-Fire Information (IRWIN). IRWIN is a Wildland Fire Information and Technology (WIFIT) affiliated Information Technology (IT) system intended to develop an "end-to-end" fire reporting capability that provides an integrated and coordinated process for collecting and reporting incident/event data. This contract was awarded with a base period of one (1) year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods and is currently in Option Period One (1). The purpose of this modification is to increase in the level of effort essential for additional prototyping during option period one, add incremental funding to the option period 1, exercise option period two (2), and add incrementally fund option period (2). The period of performance is as follows: Option Period One (1): September 1, 2014 - August 31, 2015; Option Period Two (2): September 1, 2015 - August 31, 2016 The required increase in the ceiling amount will facilitate an increase in the level of effort essential for additional prototyping during option period one (1). The additional prototyping is outside the typical iteration cycle when prototyping is scheduled to occur, and will require the contractor to increase development time and level of effort in the current period of performance. To accommodate the additional effort that is greater than the current period of performance ceiling amount, the fourth option period ceiling amount will be reduced and option period one (1) ceiling amount will be increased. The contract value will remain the same. The intended source is Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc., who was the original awardee for this contract. This requirement is within scope of the original contract award.
