- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is for Audio Visual Equipment and Installation for procurement through Technical Innovation Cage Code: 5BMR7 (140 Business Center Drive, Birmingham, Alabama 35244) the equipment being procured will be used to upgrade the existing hardware infrastructure. The required delivery date is 60 days from contract award. A requirements list, identifying part numbers/item descriptions and quantities, is provided as an attachment to this J&A. The PEO MSLS Headquarters is required to maintain oversight on the multifaceted missile system efforts. In order to maintain a reliable Audio Visual Equipment solution that is in compliance with network security regulations and policy, it is necessary to upgrade the hardware with Cisco/Creston equipment. The Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA) under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1 entitled, quote mark Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements quote mark, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; any offers will be considered; however, it is the Government's intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Technical Innovation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical capability and price. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
