- The United States Military Academy, West Point is issuing this sources sought notice for procurement of a Ground Penetrating Radar, brand name or equal to GSSI (geophysical.com) UTILITY SCAN SIR 4000. Included with this GP Radar is the Single Survey Wheel, Tow handle, harness and supporting software. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of all qualified Small Business Administration (SBA) businesses to include: certified 8(a), HUBZone and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women owned small business firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 334515 Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested sources are requested to submit an email showing how they can meet the existing requirement. Sources must sufficiently demonstrate the capability to provide the equipment as mentioned above.This is not a sole source procurement and interested vendors should review the attached product description. Please include a Point of Contact in your response along with a cage code or Duns number. Emails should contain a reference to Sources Sought W911SD-15-T-0281 A solicitation is expected to be posted within 30 days. The small business size standard is 500 persons. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to david.l.ariosto.civ@mail.mil. The information requested must be received no later than 4 PM Eastern Time on 17 JULY 2015.
