- DARB 4 Wage Determination GA134, 10 Jul 2015 bldg. 1001 Specifications Bldg. 1001 Drawings FA6703-15-B-0003, Solicitation to Repair Bldg. 1001 This is a Solicitation Notice. This does constitute an invitation for bid. Dobbins Air Reserve Base has a requirement to Repair and Alter Bldg. 1001 at Dobbins ARB, GA. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THIS SOLICITATION UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE CLOSING DATE. IN THE EVENT THE GOVERNMENT CANCELS THIS SOLICITATION, THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO OBLIGATION TO REIMBURSE AN OFFEROR FOR ANY COSTS The project scope is to construct an 875' extension to B1001 to provide a door to existng facility, workspace, storage, training area and conference room for five employees and renovate B1001 by replacing roof with a TPO roof; remove & replace ceiling with a new drop ceiling, exhaust fan; replace all doors and jambs; paint all interior walls; install new floor throughout facility; install new duct work if it can be placed above drop ceiling; install guy wires & supports to relieve stress form antenna entering into building. This procurement is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 and the Size Standard is $36.5M. The Contractor MUST meet requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.219-14, entitled "Limitations on Subcontracting", by providing at least 15% of the work. The period of performance is 180-calendar days. The magnitude of constuction is between $250,000 and $500,000 with a statutory limitation of $1,000,000. The Air Force intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will be in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation. In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and FAR 52.204-7, entitled "System for Award Management", Prospective c ontractor shall be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Registration requires offerors to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately at https://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for a timely award. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, 22 July 2015 at 10:00 am EST. All informaiton concerning gate entrance is provided in the solicitation.
