- The purpose of this amendment is to provide an update on the DES procurement. The Agency would like to thank the remedial contracting community for the questions and comments arising from the RAF webinar held on May 13, 2015. As a result, the Agency has been reevaluating the DES acquisition strategy and intends to provide answers to the questions arising from the webinar within the next two weeks. In the meanwhile, the Agency would like to notify the remedial contracting community at this time about a recent change to its approach to procuring the DES suite of architect-engineering services. Rather than procuring DES services on a regional basis, the Agency has decided to combine groups of regions, similar to the way the RES and ESO services will be procured. More details regarding the new CLIN structure for DES will be included in the forthcoming answers to the webinar questions. The Request for SF-330s will not be issued until later this year. Please disregard Modifications 10 and 11 which were posted in error.
