- This is a presolicitation notice to inform potential contractors of an upcoming requirement. There will be a solicitation for carpets to be shipped/installed on Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. Full solicitation details will be announced as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or about 16 July under solicitation number FA5270-15-T-0107. Closing date of this solicitation will be notified when RFQ is posted. Once the solicitation document has been uploaded, please direct questions to shoko.tsukayama.jp@us.af.mil. Note 1: The entire schedule is tentative. It is the offeror's responsibility to check the requirement in FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Note 2: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, does not restrict the Government in its ultimate acquisition approach or obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation cost. The Government reserve the right to cancel solicitation, whether before or after solicitation closing, with no obligations to the offeror by the Government.
