- Envelope Slip DD1707 Drawings Contract Specification SF 1442 Solicitation Government Policy The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations to complete Project No. ZNRE 12-1130B, Maintain Roof, Bldg 4084, Exchange Retail Warehouse, Phase II, Yokota AB, Japan The following scope of work is expressed in general terms and in no way limits the Contractor's responsibility: Construction only project to maintain roofs. Location; Bldg 4084,Yokota Air Base, Tokyo, Japan. The Contractor awarded the contract shall perform all necessary work to complete the project in accordance with the specifications. Architectural work includes: To repair the existing roof by cleaning, prepare the surface, apply waterproof membrane system, and all the other work necessary to complete it. The estimated amount of the project is: Between Y60,060,000 & Y120,120,000 ($500,000 & $1,000,000) in accordance with FAR 36.204 (e), which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Bid Bond and Performance bond: Required Please e-mail to the Point of Contact (POC) below to receive further information on the subject project. Site Visit: The site visit for bidders will be conducted on 16 Jul 15, at 0930 hours. The Government will not provide transportation to participants. Therefore, the participants shall use own vehicles. Hard hat(s)/helmet(s) for their own use will be necessary if they wish to climb ladders. Participants who need to obtain a one-day pass shall make an appointment with the POC in advance ( One Day Prior at least). Escorting will be provided only to those who make an apointment in advance at the Gate 5 (Supply Gate) at 0900 hours on the site visit date. Bring the proper identification (valid passport or driver's license with 8 digits password). For the vehicle pass, bring the proper & original insurance documents. ( Copy certificate is unacceptable in any case. ) Failure to provide the proper documentation may cause you unable to enter the base. Firms participating the site visit are requested to respond in writing to this notice to Ms Yoshie Okumura, Contract Specialist, by e-mail (Address: yoshie.okumura.jp@us.af.mil) or telephone (042-552-3014). NOTE: THIS NOTICE IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION 5.202(a)(12). LOCAL SOURCES ARE THOSE SOURCES NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION.
