- The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Natick Contracting Division on behalf of the U.S. Army Natick Soldier RD&E Center (NSRDEC) intends to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) only one responsible source to DSM DYNEEMA B.V, URMOND, Netherlands for ultra-high molecular weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) ballistic materials. These products are patented and proprietary to DSM DYNEEMA. These specific materials are being acquired from this vendor for performance evaluation. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326199. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3069.
