- RFQ The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Pacific Regional Laboratory Southwest (PRL-SW) located in Irvine, CA is an ISO 17025 accredited multi-purpose laboratory involved in the analysis of FDA regulated products and other scientific activities in support of the agency's public health mission. To implement new US Pharmacopeia procedures for testing elemental impurities in drug products, PRL-SW has a requirement for a high pressure asher (acid digestion apparatus) to chemically decompose drug product samples for analysis by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometric (ICP-MS) techniques.
