- The purpose of this amendment is to change the GSA Point of Contact (POC). The GSA POC is changed from Joseph Grainey to: Shawna Villarreal Contracting Officer Energy & Acquisition Support (7PQD) Acquisitions Management Division GSA/Public Building Service 817/850-5541 shawna.villarreal@gsa.gov All correspondence regarding this solicitation from this date forward is to be sent to MS. Veillarreal. The General Services Administration (GSA) Greater Southwest Region 7, Albuquerque, New Mexico has a requirement for the removal and replacement of an existing 155 ton water cooled chiller. All work will be performed at the Pete V. Domenici Federal Courthouse located at 333 Lomas Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238220, Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Contractors, the size standard is $15,0 Million. The magnitude of this construction project in accordance with FAR 36.204 is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. Registration is required on the System for Award Management (SAM online at www.sam.gov) website. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. All eligible and responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required following the contract award, pursuant to the Miller Act. A bid guarantee shall also be required from the winning contractor. To obtain a copy of the solicitation, firms must request the solicitation by submitting a one page letter on company letterhead. This letter shall include the firm's e-mail address, full mailing address, and the primary point of contact. Send the letter to joseph.grainey@gsa.gov and reference GS-07-P-15-UF-C-7002 in the subject line of the e-mail. GSA retains the right to publish and distribute the list of offerors to other interested parties (i.e., subcontractors, etc.). Interested parties should refer to PBS Order 3490.1A, Document Security for Sensitive but Unclassified Building Information, which outlines the document security policy. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about July 9, 2015. The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price. Award will be made based upon low price technically acceptable in accordance with FAR Part 15.101-2 and the terms in the solicitation. A site visit will be scheduled and announced in the solicitation.
