- ****ATTENTION*****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO LAURIE A. The Army Contracting Command-Redstone proposes to award a new firm-fixed price contract to procure a quote mark Sheet Metal Kit quote mark which includes two (2) 150-Ton Press Brakes and one (1) Laser Cutting Machine for the Jigs & Fixtures Shop, P64A3, to support the production of airframes and related parts for various aircraft structures at the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD). F.O.B. Destination with delivery to Corpus Christi Army Depot, TX. Estimated delivery is 150 Days After Contract Award. This item is restricted to Phillips Corporation Federal Division, CAGE Code: 3MPQ0. Authority Cited: The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 United States Code (USC) 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(c), quote mark Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Application for brand-name descriptions. quote mark All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. All prospective manufacturers, or distributors, seeking to compete for a solicitation for Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Spares, for any restricted source parts, are required to be an AMCOM approved source. To obtain approval, vendors must submit a SAR package, for review and approval, to the Engineering Directorate (ED), Quality Engineering Division. Source approval must be obtained prior to being considered for contract award. Approvals are made on an individual part number basis for a specific manufacturing location (CAGE). Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by following the SAR submission guidance provided on the website http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar.
