Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Responses to this sources sought must be in writing. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential small businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name, (b) point of contact (c) phone, fax and email (e) DUNS number (f) type of small business, e.g, Veteran owned (g) a capability statement that addresses qualifications and ability to perform work described below. The Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) located at 600 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix AZ, 85012 is seeking a contractor to provide Hoptel Services for VA patients. Hoptel Services are: Hotels providing rooms for patients traveling from outside a 50 mile radius of Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center, Phoenix, AZ. Hotel must be within a ten (10) mile radius of the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center, Phoenix, AZ. Hotel rooms must be double-occupancy, first floor non-smoking rooms (including 1 handicapped room) with queen beds, and shall include complimentary breakfast (continental or buffer). All rooms are required as requested for seven (7) days of each week for 52 weeks. In addition, the offeror's capabilities statement must show the facility is compliant and meets the requirements for Americans with Disabilities Act (Public Law 101-226) (42 U.S.C. 12101 et. seq.)., the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990 (Public Law 101-391) (15 U.S.C. 2201 et. seq.), and is listed on the U.S. Fire Administration Hotel and Motel National Master List found at http://www.usfa.fema.gov/hotel/search.cfm. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 721110. All interested offerors should submit their qualifications by email to: JaMickael.Yanez@va.gov no later than July 10, 2015 at 4:00 pm Mountain Standard time. After review of the responses to this announcement, the Government intends to proceed with the issuance of a solicitation.
