- Correction to NAICS code USDA-ARS, PBARC, Hilo, HI requires HVAC service on a McQuay and Trane Chiller along with several small HVAC units maintenance contract requiring 4 hour onsite service response in accordance with the attached scope of work is required. The USDA ARS is aware of local large businesses who have personnel on the Big Island of Hawaii who can meet our response time requirement. We are seeking small business participation on this requirement who can provide this service at resalable prices who have personnel who are on the big Island of Hawaii who can meet our response time. We have been unable in the past to set-aside this requirement for small business since all small business participants in the past were unable to present a reasonable price. At this time the USDA ARS intends on posting an RFQ unrestricted unless there is a reasonable expectation that two small business with local personnel can meet our response time requirements at a reasonable price. Small Businesses interested in participation in future RFQ's must respond by Tuesday June 30, 2015 COB. We will make a destination for setting this requirement aside for small business based on responses received. Include in your response where your firm has local representation and if you intend to have your employees work on this requirement or you will be sub-contracting out this work.
