- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes to identify qualified and experienced sources for an anticipated single award, Firm Fixed Price type contract under NAICS code 334310 (Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing) with a size standard of 750 employees. This announcement constitutes a sources sought synopsis for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and a contract will not be awarded from of this announcement. This sources sought notice is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Virginia, is in the process of developing the acquisition strategy to procure various video, audio, video teleconferencing (VTC) system parts in support of video path expansion project for US Fleet Forces Command (USFFC). A supply list (short and detailed versions) is posted in conjunction with this sources sought notice. This requirement is currently classified as unrestricted; however, a socioeconomic set-aside might be incorporated based on qualifying parties. Therefore, all interested businesses are encouraged to submit a capabilities statement that describes their ability to support this requirement. This is a śmeet or exceed ť the brand name parts ™ specifications requirement. Responses to this Sources Sought request shall include the following information in this format: 1.Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number, fax number and email address. 2.Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. 3.If the items can be solicited from a GSA schedule, provide the GSA contract number. 4.Size of business - Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantage, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-owned and/or Veteran-owned. 5.Statement displaying the contractor ™s ability to provide the requested parts. Capability statements should be submitted by 1:30 pm EST, 9 July 2015 via email to Mr. Rentsendorj at khosbayar.rentsendo1@navy.mil. Please reference śSources Sought-Video Path Expansion Supply ť in the email subject line. Capability statement submission should be limited to five (5) pages or less and can be generated in Microsoft Word, Excel or Adobe PDF. *** PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT QUOTES WITH PRICES. This is INFORMATION ONLY inquiry to see if there are any vendors that are capable of providing these parts. Respondents will not be notified of the results. Please note the information within this pre-solicitation synopsis will be updated and/or may change prior to an official synopsis/solicitation, if any is issued.
