- Description
- The Library of Congress intends to solicit architectural and engineering design services for the James Madison Memorial Building in Washington, DC. Design of public library spaces is the specialty focus required to support these requirements. The construction services for any design deliverable for the Library of Congress facilities on Capitol Hill are performed by the Architect of the Capitol or its designee. As such, design services will produce constructible and fiscally conscious solutions with a focus on lifecycle-based facility management for the Library. The government anticipates that the services required for the solicitation are: • Project Management • Exhibit Design • Interior Architectural Design • Engineering Design (Includes MEP, Audio/Visual and Acoustical Engineering) • Construction Administration Support Performing Arts Reading Room Location: LM-113-115 SF: 11,300 Young Readers Center Expansion 3,009 SF with 1,000 SF expansion
