Contractor is required to adjust the spine as needed for correct alignment - NO BLEEDS OF OFC or OBC on the spine. Text pages: Print head to head 4-color process with illustrations, tints/solids with reversing, and type & line matter. Pages contain uncommon bleeds and may contain 4-color illustrations that print and align across the bind. Form: Prints face only in black ink. Make one full vertical perforation along the 10-7/8" dimension on the Perforate (blind) approximately 3/4" from the bind edge. Insert form into book with other signatures. The perforated leaf must lay flat within the finished catalog and be trimmed flush. Perfect Binding: Sewn book block or soft notch bound signatures with separate wraparound adhesive bound cover along the 10-7/8" spine dimension and trim three sides. Score separate wraparound cover on folds and approximately 1/4" from folds on front and back to form hinge score. The sewn book block or soft notched bound signatures with separate wraparound adhesive bound cover MUST be durable and strong enough to hold books together during secondary shipping and must perform functionally for the life of the reader. Signature alignment of design elements such as solid color bands is required. Cover: wraparound, glued on, trim flush. Grain must run parallel to spine. Econobox: The individually-shipped catalogs will require a custom-made econobox, construction method at contractor's choice, which must include a suitable die-cut window that allows the complete address information on Cover 4 (including all barcodes) to show through. The econobox shall be preprinted with return address, mailing indicia, mailing endorsement, penalty statement, date, website URL, catalog code and "Official Government Business" line. See furnished mock up for exact text and layout placement.
