- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Philadelphia Office intends to solicit for supplies in support of the United States Naval Academy, Nimitz Library. Supplies to be acquired include basic and optional subscriptions(i.e. new and renewal subscription to a single address for domestic and foreign serials and periodicals published in electronic, paper and other formats,and related supplies. This procurement will be conducted as a Total Small Business set-aside. This requirement is a follow-on effort to existing contract N00189-11-C-Z019 with Wolper Subscription Services. The resultant contract shall be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract under the authority of the test program for certain commercial items, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 424920 and the small business size standard of five hundred (500) employees. Upon its release, the solicitation and any/all amendments will be made available electronically at https://www.neco.navy.mil. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available.The period of performance is anticipated to begin January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016 with four one-year option years extending from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2020. All responsible sources may submit quotes to fulfill this requirement, which shall be considered by the NAVSUP FLC Norfolk Philadelphia Office. Vendors providing quotes must be registered in the Government ™s System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award. See https://www.sam.gov for further information and instructions. There is no fee associated with registering your company in SAM. The solicitation is currently available. The closing date for receipt of quotes is established in the solicitation.
