General Information Document Type: Synopsis Posted Date: 8 Jun 2015 Classification Code: Z1AA - Maintenance of Office Buildings NAICS Code: 238220-Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors Subject/Title: Bldg 200 HVAC Renovation Proposed Solicitation No: FA4497-15-R-0004 Set-A-Side: 100% SDVOSB Set Aside Contracting Office Address Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command 436th CONS/LGCA 639 Atlantic Street Dover AFB DE 19902-5639 Description The project consists of construction services for the renovation of the JAG office, Bldg 200. The work shall consist of, but not limited to, providing all labor, materials, tools, expertise, testing, surveying, equipment, sampling, warranties, and transportation necessary for construction. Renovations shall include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, architectural, structural systems upgrades and replacements. The performance period for this project will be 360 days from notice to proceed (NTP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 with a size standard of $15 million dollars. The approximate issue date will be 29 June 2015 with an approximate response date of 31 July 2015. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204 The solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is issued on a restricted basis to ONLY SDVOSB firms. All offers will be evaluated utilizing the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) procedures. All responsive offers will be considered by the agency. All firms must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive award. Registration can be accomplished at https://www.sam.gov This solicitation will result in a firm-fixed price contract. The performance period is 360 calendar days. The entire solicitation, including the specifications, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Site at https://www.fbo.gov The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the FedBizOpps website to: Vendors / Citizens - Find Opportunities, then search the solicitation number FA4497-15-R-0004. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
