Description

On behalf of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Research and Development, the Office of Acquisition Resource Management intends to award a sole source requirement to Entech Instruments, Inc for the purchase of a one year service agreement to support two Entech 7200 VOC Laboratory Concentrators. The service agreement includes unlimited telephone support, four ¿ one hour call backs. Entech is the sole manufacturer and sole provider of software upgrades and parts for the system. To use any other vendor would render any warranty under the existing equipment void. To purchase anything for this system from any vendor other than Entech would cause a substantial duplication of cost to the government which is not expected to be recovered through competition. The Government will however, continue to seek other qualified sources through the local Chamber of Commerce and other classified means. The authority used under this requirement is FAR 6.302-1.
