- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Base Bid and Alternate Items 1 and 2: work consists of resurfacing designated sections of Eagle Knob Road, FSR #238, with asphalt pavement, replacing approximately 10 culverts, and cleaning ditches and culverts. Alternate Bid Item #3: work consists of resurfacing designated section of High Knob Tower Road #238A. CONTRACT TIME is 60 days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $250,000 and $500,000 PROJECT LOCATION: Eagle Knob Road is located on the Clinch Ranger District, George Washington/Jefferson National Forest in Wise County, VA. Directions to project: From Norton, VA, travel south on State Route 619 approx. 4 miles to beginning of the project on the left. SET-ASIDE: 100% Small Business SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: This solicitation, AG-3395-S-15-0016, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as an Invitation for Bid and will be available for downloading on or about June 22, 2015 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. PRE-BID MEETING: A pre-bid meeting and site showing (not mandatory) will be scheduled; time and date will be included in the solicitation.
