- Amendment number one is issued in order to add clarifications and to extend the date for receipt of offers to Friday, June 19th 2:00 PM EDT The FAA Eastern Acquisition Service Area, Boston Acquisition Office, has a requirement for the Fire Alarm System Upgrade Project located at the Portland International Jetport (PWM) Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) in Portland, ME. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238210, Electrical Contractors,($15.0 Million size standard)The Request for Offer (RFO) Specifications, Drawings, Wage Rate, and Business Declaration Form, are attached to this announcement. All documents are available in.pdf format and may be viewed with the applicable version of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Professional. The price range for this requirement is $100,000 to $300,000. Performance and payment bonds are required. A site visit will be conducted on June 2th at 10:00AM at the Portland, ME Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT). Prospective Offerors are strongly encouraged to attend. For security purposes, all attendees must contact Jennifer Schaub (603)881-1267, 48 hours prior to visit and have a valid and current ID in his/her possession at the time of the site visit. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
