Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/) and FEDBIZOPPS (https://www.fbo.gov/). The RFQ (Request for Quote) number is N0018915M3037. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-82 and DFARS Change Notice 20150602. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The proposed contract action is for commercial services and related supplies required to return a TRANE RTAC Helical-Rotary Liquid Chiller unit to operational status. The work shall be performed on the Norfolk Operations Base (NOB) in Norfolk, Virginia. Personnel performing work on Department of Defense installations must meet all requirements for gaining access to the installation. The work to be performed is as follows: 1.The Contractor shall provide the following services: Lock Out /Tag Out chiller Plug ruptured tubes (evaporator) and install heads Evacuate system, including oil and filter changes daily for a period of two (2) weeks Recharge chiller with refrigerant Restore power and verify proper operation Provide all parts incident to repair 2.The two-week period commences at 0800 on the first business day following contract award. 3.Work is to be performed during normal working hours Monday “ Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM. This acquisition will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract under NAICS 811412. The Small Business Size Standard is $15M. Place of performance is NOB Norfolk, building CEP 183. Work is to commence not later than the day following notification of contract award. This solicitation will expire 09 June 2015 at 5:00 pm EST.
