- Description
- The Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), Office of Cuba Broadcasting, Administration Office (OCB/A) located in Miami, FL intends to negotiate non-competitively a one-year commercial item contract with Associate Press (AP), 450 W 33rd St, New York, NY 10001. The term of the proposed contract will be July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016. The contract will provide an annual limited term software license for the use and maintenance of the Essential News Production System (ENPS) software. The software license is for use only at the Office of Cuba Broadcasting (OCB) facility in Miami, FL. Therefore, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) the Government has determined that Associate Press is only responsible source available for this requirement. Associate Press is the sole owner of the ENPS proprietary software licenses and OCB needs ENPS to meet its mission. Any information received from other firms interested in responding to this notice must be sufficient in detail to afford an evaluation without any need for additional submission and the information submitted will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to consider a competitive procurement. Any questions regarding this Notice shall be in writing and submitted to OCB, at email at rmingo@bbg.gov. This public notice is not an RFP, RFQ or IFB.
