- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 intends to issue a sole source purchase order to American University, 4400 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., Washington D.C 2016. The award will support the EPA Internships for Native Students Program. The vendor shall provide three (3) interns to support the Office of Environmental Information (OEI) ¿s Central Data Exchange, the Toxic Release Inventory Program, and the Environmental Dataset Gateway. The EPA believes that American University is the only known responsible source that has developed a highly specialized and nationally recognized internship program with the goal of giving students of sovereign American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian nations the opportunity to build leadership skills acquired from studying and interning with a federal agency or non governmental organization. Any responsible source that believes it is capable of meeting these requirements may submit a response in writing, which if received no later than June 8, 2015 at 9:00 am EST, will be considered.
