- Description
- The 934th Airlift Wing will be soliciting for Project #QJKL 14-00018, Repair Office Areas, Building 801. Work to be performed within NAICS code: 236220 size standard $36.5M. This project renovates existing Bldg 801. The renovation includes: remove and dispose of existing flooring and lighting; furnish and install new gypsum board partitions including insulation and fur out exterior walls; furnish and install suspended ceilings, carpet tile, doors and hardware; furnish and install new electrical and communication outlets; extend fire sprinkler system to underside of suspended ceiling and provide new exit lights, horn/strobes and public address speakers; furnish and install new HVAC diffusers with associated duct work, dampers and controls; and, adjust existing HVAC system for better controllability. Location is bldg. 801, at the Minneapolis-St Paul Air Reserve Station (MSPARS), Minneapolis MN. Performance period is 120 days. An Invitation for Bid (IFB) is contemplated IAW FAR part 14 with a 30 day response time after issuance of solicitation. This acquisition is being solicited pursuant to FAR Part 19.5, and is issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, competitive IFB. Magnitude of acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation, specifications, drawings, wage determination and any other applicable documents will be available via electronic means only at the www.FBO.gov website under solicitation #FA6633-15-B-0008, on or about 6 July 2015. Telephone requests for plans will not be honored. Plans and specifications will also be available for examination without charge at the Contracting Office upon coordination with the assigned Contract Specialist. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to obtain all necessary updates/amendments. All contractors must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible to receive award http://www.sam.gov and have completed the On-line Representations and Certifications at that site. Planholders lists will not be maintained, interested vendors should sign up on this web site in the "Interested Vendor List" (IVL) tab to receive notices or "watch" the opportunity. A site visit will be conducted as identified in the IFB, Section L, FAR Clause 52.236-27 "Site Visit (Construction)"; Potential bidders - prime contractors, subcontractors and/or suppliers may attend any site visits upon written advance notification to the assigned Contract Specialist, see FAR Clause 52.236-27.
