- This agency proposes to issue solicitation SPE4A6-15-R-0692 for a long-term strategic contract which includes NSN 1440-01-570-9040 to support weapon systems Z9N/ operational platform F-18, A-D,E/F, G Growler Aircraft. A total of 1 NSN is targeted for this contract effort. It is anticipated that Naval Air Systems Command (CAGE 30003) basic drawing 3740AS2014, dtd 03/02/2007, part number 3740AS2014-1 will be priced for the initial contract award. The proposed action is intended to be awarded as a competitive hubzone set aside. The proposed competitive will be issued to one of the following sources Carter Aerospace Manufacturing, CAGE 3E2D6, American Defense Components, CAGE 4U6M9, Etezazi Industries, CAGE 60V04, Defense Support Services, Cage 1L3U4, Malone's CNC Machining, Cage 2V045, Smyth County Machine & Welding, 0J6L4 and Valco, Inc, CAGE 1P8T5. Only offers from Hubzone manufacturers or Hubzone dealers furnishing a Hubzone manufacturer's product will be considered for award. The proposed contract will be for a total 5 year period of performance. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR Part 15 effort. The proposed contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract IAW FAR 16.103. NSN 1440-01-570-9040 has been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. This will be a competitive awarded contract and best value selection methods will be used. The Government will award a single contract for this action. The solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) on or around June 22, 2015. This item is identified with Federal Supply Class 1440, NIIN 015709040, Support Bar, Aft Fairing, AMC/AMSC of 1G, EAD of 18 and a required delivery schedule of 128 days for the base and option years.
