- NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION AFTC/PZIE, 205 West D Ave, Eglin AFB, Florida 32542, intends to issue a new sole-source contract to CALCULEX, Inc. Redwood City, CA, for Airborne Data Recorder (ADR) (Model CSR-2300) units, spare parts, technical engineering support, upgrades and the ability to have spares refurbished or repaired in support of the ADRs. The Government anticipates award, on or about the fourth quarter of FY15, of an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity using a firm-fixed-price contract type. The ordering period will be for five years, with a ceiling of $4.8M. The statutory authority utilized is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals, bids, or quotes and a Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a response in the form of a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which, if received by the response date of this notice, shall be considered by the agency. Submission of any of documents shall be at the contractor's expense. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is in support of AFTC and Department of Defense developmental and operational flight test requirements and training related to a variety of weapon system platforms. The proposed contractor developed the software and hardware for these systems, and the software/hardware and test data for the systems are proprietary. The Air Force has no development funding for this procurement. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the future acquisition is 334511, size standard 750 employees.
