- Description
- RFQ The National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS) Inventory Management Section (IMS)is responsible of maintaining the warehouses at the Taylor Street facility. A sit down forklift is needed to carry out the mission of NLS. IMS is in need of a reliable forklift to load and unload material for retrieving and shipping purposes. IMS received a Raymond sit down used electric forklift from the Landover facility, model number RTW 35. This forklift has had major mechanical failures; i.e. steering valve, auxiliary card, battery issues, hydraulic hose leak, to name a few. This is a requirement to facilitate the storage and retrieval of material stored and distributed throughout the NLS network.
