- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. (SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION) The Solicitation Number for this acquisition is W912BU-15-T-0040 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-78. Clauses and Provisions are available on line at HTTP://farsite.hill.af.mil. This requirement is a 100 % Small Business Set Aside; the NAICS code is 541690. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed price contract for a contractor to provide all materials and labor and equipment necessary to perform the work. USACE must conduct structural inspections of Newt Graham Lock and Dam Tainter Gates in Broken Arrow, OK.This scope is a description of services by the contractor to provide rigging and supervision for a rope access inspection team and to conduct non-destructive testing for various structural welds via rope access. (See the attached detailed solicitation). Award will be made on the basis of Lowest Price. Price will be evaluated for fair and reasonableness. The period of performance for all inspections is 27-29 June 2015 for 3 days at the Newt Graham Lock and Dam. If one (1) additional day is needed for 30 June 2015 an option will be exercised. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-78. FAR Provisions and Clauses applicable to this acquisition are as follows (latest edition) are incorporated in their entirety. All quotes shall be submitted electronically by (12:00 PM) EST on 11 June, 2015 to Ryan McWilliams at Ryan.T.McWilliams@usace.army.mil.
