- Lolo National Forest, Seeley Lake Ranger District, Mountain Creek Stewardship IRSC. The Mountain Creek Stewardship IRSC's objective is the harvest and removal of approximately 125 acres of dead and dying trees including the current mountain pine beetle infestation within an old ponderosa pine plantation. Contract work activities include, but are not limited to approximately 5470 tons of non-saw timber removal, Contractor marking of timber, snow plowing, and moving and replacing road barriers (boulders) on identified roads. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to this website on approximately June 22, 2015. A Pre-Proposal conference and site visit will be scheduled in July 2015 and the date and location of that meeting will be posted on this website. There will be one contract award. The estimated start work date for the project is approximately November 16, 2015, with approximately 5 months of contract time. Contract time requirements and performance restrictions will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued.
