- Notice of Intent: National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), Office of Purchasing and Contracts (OPC) 10 Center Drive, Building 10, Room B1N238, Bethesda, Maryland 20892 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Hill-Rom, Inc. 1069 State Route 46 East, Batesville. IN 47006-7777, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c) (1)--Only one responsible source and no other company will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for maintenance on 24 Prima X-tend Arms. Only Hill-Rom, Inc can provide software updates, repair and service their equipment with all original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts In order to have only OEM certified parts, updated software and continue with equipment warranties no other vendor can provide this service. This will be a firm fixed price purchase order with a one year base period and 4 one year option periods. This is not a Request for Quote. Sources interested in this requirement must provide a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this synopsis can be met. Response must be in writing and must be received within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this notice sent to Deborah Culpepper, dculpepper@cc.nih.gov by 10:00 a.m. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based on responses from this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conducts a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received by 10:00 a.m. EST to determine whether there are other qualified source(s), an award will be issued to Hill-Rom, Inc. The NAICS Code is 811213. There is no solicitation package available. No phone calls will be accepted.
