- THIS IS AN INTENT TO AWARD NOTICE. NOTHING HEREIN SHOULD BE MISCONSTRUED A A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, QUOTES, OR BIDS. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to award a sole source purchase order to J B Ward & Sons 2M021070, BRUSH (FOUR-ROW) FOR THE I-10 WIPER TANK DRAWING NUMBER L546030 BLATT 108-06 (BEP Stock No. 2M021070) J B Ward & Sons is the only source that is certified by the Bureau to provide the brushes. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only the designated source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit documentation that clearly demonstrates their capability. Responses to this notice shall be received by 10 June 2015 at 9:00am EST. All responses must be in writing only via email to the point of contact specified in this notice. Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
