Description

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate with one responsible source pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1,First Data Bank, 500 East 96th St., Suite 500, Indianapolis, IN, 46204. This contract will be to purchase licenses to the National Drug Data File (NDDF) for a base year and one option year. A justification and approval is currently being processed for this requirement. CMS REQUIREMENTS: Careful market research was performed and found FDB either purchases all other previously existing data sources, or the other data sources are no longer in existence. CMS uses NDDF exclusively for research and analysis projects related to Medicare and Medicaid programs. The specific statistical data supplied by FDB has been used by CMS for many years. NAICS CODES: The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 511140 (Director and Mailing List Publishers) and the size standard is 500 employees. INTERESTED PARTIES: All responsible sources may submit capability statements in consideration to CMS using the primary point of contact listed above, by the specified due date.
