- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Installation Contracting Office (IOC) - Fort Stewart, Georgia anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Invitation for Bid (IFB) Replace Doors Solicitation. Solication Number W9124M-15-B-0008 will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil.asfi on or about June 30, 2015. A link is provided through FedBizOpps page at www.fbo.gov. Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. All Bidders must register with the Central Contractors Registry now known as the System for Award Management (sam.gov) per FAR 52.204-7 The solicitation is 100% set aside for qualifying HUBZone firms under NAICS code 332321 (Size Standard 500). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Contract performance time is 120 days. Information concerning the HUBzone program can be found at http://www.sba.gov/content/hubzone. MICC- Fort Stewart is operating a paperless contracting file system. A minimun of one copy of each document submitted to the contracting office shall be in an electronic format. Acceptable formats are PDF, DOC(x), XLS(x), TXT, JPG and XPS. All submissions shall include one (1) CD with all required documents and one (1) paper copy of each bid. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Contracting Office Address: MICC- Fort Stewart 976 William H. Wilson Ave Ste 100 Fort Stewart, GA 31314-3322 1. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Replace 10' x 10' double door frames, doors and door hardware for 7 openings, located at building 17005 off highway 144 west on Fort Stewart, GA at the Ammunition Supply Point. 1.1 The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and performing all operations required in connection with replace doors and hardware complete in strict accordance with specifications and drawings. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, the following items. 1.1.1Replace existing 10' x 10' double door frames and doors to include door hardware. All steel/metal recyclable materials are to remain the property of the government. DPW Environmental will provide a dumpster for storage of recyclable materials and will haul those materials away. DPW Building Inspector will notify recycle, when you have requested a recyclable dumpster, request dumpster 3 to 4 days before needing the dumpster. 1.1.2Metal door frames 10' x 10', 14 gauge with hinge reinforcement backing plate for each required hinge, number of hinges per manufacture specifications and recommendations, per weight and size of doors. 1.1.3Flush metal doors 14 gauge, grade ll heavy duty, insulated core, with auxiliary reinforcement backing plates, for hinges per manufacture specifications and recommendations, provide hinges per weight and size of doors. Door leaf approximately 5' x 10', doors will have high security shrouded hasp welded to these doors which will be provided by customer. When having these metal doors fabricated, keep in mind, where the shrouds will be welded onto these doors, when doors are constructed. 1.1.4Door hinges size per manufacture specifications and recommendations, per weight and size of doors, 6 quote mark x 6 quote mark extra heavy duty, full mortise, ball bearings, stainless steel hinges with non-removable pins, and paintable. 1.1.542 quote mark surface mounted bolts, slide type bolts, 8 quote mark surface mounted spring type bolts, zinc plated for door bottoms 1.1.64' push exit device, rim type, grade 1, Von Duprin (or equal) series 88 series or equivalent. 1.1.7Install night pull trim with locking cylinder, with stainless steel finish and keyed alike, grade 1Von Duprin 880NL series 88 (or equal). 1.1.8Automatic door bottom Pemko 4301 CRL sponge neoprene insert, 31/32 quote mark width, 2-1/8 quote mark height, surface mount, aluminum retainer or (or equal). 1.1.9 quote mark vinyl insert, 7/8 quote mark width, quote mark height, mill aluminum retainer, perimeter gasketing weather-strip Pemko 303AV (or equal). 1.1.10Install Pemko 368CN (or equal) door sweep height on door sweep will depend on the height of the bottom of the doors. 1.1.11Paint color samples, will be installation design colors on doors and frames Cocoa Brown submit colors for approval.
