- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking interested offerors for a construction project entitled: FSP2 Room Water Leak Repair. The construction will occur at Ice Harbor Lock and Dam, in Franklin County, Washington. This will be a firm-fixed-price construction contract. Construction magnitude is estimated at less than $25,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238190 and the associated small business size standard is $15,000,000. This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the interest in and capability to accomplish the work. This is not a solicitation. Only those firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information (items one through five) will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement. 1) A statement or list of current and/or past technical experience similar to or the same as the summary scope of work. Include a brief description of each project scope; your firm's role in the project, project schedule, including completion date (or projected completion date); and dollar value. 2) A statement or list of your firm's current or past performance similar to or the same as the summary scope of work and construction magnitude. Include a point of contact name, phone number and email address. 3) A statement of your firm's business size and type (HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), small business). Submit this information to Scott Shelley, Contract Specialist, via email to devon.s.shelley@usace.army.mil. Your response to this notice must be received on or before 2:00PM on Friday, June 12, 2015. Summary of Scope of Work: The purpose of this work is to stop water from leaking out of a concrete joint in the FSP2 Switchgear Room at Ice Harbor Dam. Repair the water leak by injection grouting a hydrophobic polyurethane grout along approximately 25 feet of concrete joint. Remove mineral deposits caused by the water leak. Completion date is 45 calendar days after receipt of award.
