- The U.S. Army has a requirement to provide labor, material and equipment necessary for the replacement of the Gas-Fired Hot Water Boiler in building 5 laundry room located at the Soldier Systems Center, Kansas Street, Natick Massachusetts 01760. The work includes, but is not limited to: 1)The contractor primary focus shall be to deliver and install a Gas Fired Hot Water Boiler. 2)Demolish existing Bradford-White Gas Fired Hot Water Boiler and dispose of by placing it into the Metal Recycling Dumpster at Building 20. 3)Disconnect water pipes, gas lines, flues and electrical wires prior to the demolition. 4)Install new 399 MBH Triangle Tube Gas Fired Hot Water Boiler. 5)Install new 120 Gal. Stainless Steel quote mark Smart quote mark Storage Tank. 6)Install two new pumps (one stand-by) Taco 0013. 7)Install new expansion tank. 8)Install new water fill line with regulating valve. 9)Install/wire new water temperature sensor. 10)Install new piping between new Boiler and Storage Tank. 11)Modify/Reconnect the renovated system to existing main hot water supply pipe. 12)Modify/Reconnect gas train piping to the new Boiler. 13)Provide electrical wiring for the new Boiler and pumps. Connect to the electrical panel located with-in the Laundry Room. 14)Install new 4 quote mark PVC flue ducts (combustion fresh air and exhaust). 15)Perform Boiler/Storage Tank system start-up and testing according to manufacturer's manuals to ensure a complete operational system. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220. Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors the Small business size is $15 million. The magnitude of the project is between $20,000.00 and $50,000.00. The site visit date and time will be stated in the solicitation. Work will be performed at the Soldier System Center, Kansas Street. Natick Massachusetts 01760. This requirement is subject to the Davis Bacon Act. The solicitation will be made available on the webpage on or about 22 June 2015.
