- The work for this project consists of renovating both the interior and exterior of two Transportation Facilities. Building 4430 is a 26,000 SQFT CMU and Steel building containing both office area and maintenance bays. The office area will receive extensive repairs of finishes, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection, and HVAC. The Maintenance Bay will receive new paint, some structural modification for an overhead hoist, new doors, and some civil work. Building 4431 is a 5100 SQFT CMU and steel office building that will be gutted to the structure and completely renovated. Major work includes new walls, doors, windows, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and finishes. This acquisition will be awarded to a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business Concern, utilizing Performance Price Trade-off (PPT) Procedures. Interested responsible HUBZone sources may submit a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220. The size standard is $36.5 Million. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Solicitation Package, Specifications, and Drawings (if applicable), will tentatively be posted on the FedBizOpps Website: http://www.fbo.gov on/or around 22 June 15 with a tentative closing date of 23 July 15. The contract performance period will be 240 days from the Notice to Proceed. All Contractors wishing to do business with the Government are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) DOD Central Contractor Registry (CCR) Database prior to any subsequent award. SAM Registration may be accomplished online at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Contractors are further advised that failure to register in SAM/CCR Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in SAM in order to be eligible for timely award. The single source of entry for all documentation pertaining to this acquisition will be http://www.fbo.gov. All interested parties are responsible for checking this website to ensure they have the most current information (i.e., issued Amendments, Changes to the Statement of Work, etc).
