Amendment 01 - Is hereby issued to: ********** Amendment 01 - Is hereby issued to: •· Correct the Quantity on RFQ issued to properly reflect services required. •· Require identification of Male or Female for each Key Personnel submitted for each Job and leg. •· Indicate that Multiple Awards may result based on Key Personnel qualifications and Best Value as indicated in the Statement of Work. •· Require signature accepting updated correction and terms. •· Extend response date to 6/9/15 Each line item quantity will be changed to reflect the birthing requirements from original solicitation, as follows: •01 1 Job = 1 Male for Onboard Biological Sampling and Data Collection for the SECM Project - Survey Leg 1. •02 2 Jobs = 2 Males for Onboard Biological Sampling and Data Collection for the SECM Project - Survey Leg 3. •03 3 Jobs = 2 Males and 1 Female for Onboard Biological Sampling and Data Collection for the SECM Project - Survey Leg 5. ********** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services in which the government intends to acquire in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Alaska Fisheries Science Center, Auke Bay Laboratories has a requirement. The objective of this contract is to provide onboard biological sampling and data collection for the Auke Bay Laboratory SECM project in accordance with the Statement of Work. This contractor will provide field work and biological sampling services for Auke Bay Laboratory (ABL) researchers on a contract research vessel during a Southeast Coastal Monitoring Project (SECM) summer 2015 survey. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), ABL, Ecosystem Monitoring and Assessment (EMA) program operates the SECM project annually during four monthly research surveys to monitor oceanographic conditions, prey fields, and juvenile salmon distribution and abundance in the marine waters of the northern region of southeastern Alaska. This contract is for services during 3 separate survey legs as outlined in the table below. Due to berthing restrictions, gender of contractors is indicated. See attached Statement of Work for more information. All interested concerns must submit a quotation and documentation demonstrating the qualifications to provide services as described above within fifteen (15) days of the publication date of this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A firm-fixed order is anticipated to be issued in immediately.
