- MICC - Fort Belvoir Sources Sought Synopsis: This RFI is for market research purposes only. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents shall not submit any proprietary information when responding to this RFI. Respondents shall also note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this RFI. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents regarding any responses to this RFI. Respondents shall submit capability statements that clearly define the company's ability to provide the services stated in this RFI. This requirement is for the U.S. Army Caisson Platoon. The horses support the Caisson Platoon by performing the funeral services for Arlington National Cemetery. The funerals are very high profile services that are seen by many family members and senior leaders throughout the United States Army. Contractors shall be able to state rather or not they can provide all of the items listed in the Statement of Work. THIS RFI IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine potential small business firms capable of providing the supply and/or services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition. The NAICS contemplated for this requirement is 33999 with a size standard of 500 Employees. The Contract Type is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: Please provide a capability statement addressing your company's ability to provide the supplies required below. Include only general description of each item relative to the requirement as this is not a solicitation and no responses will be considered as proposals. Provide responses to this notice to: anthony.q.roberts.civ@mail.mil Telephone responses will NOT be accepted. Please provide responses in writing no later than 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, 10 June 2015. STATEMENT OF WORK OBJECTIVES: The Caisson Platoon requests to have the below items on contract with 2 deliveries a year. Fly Spray 15 fl oz spray bottle. 75 bottles per delivery 3. Black Hoof Polish 8 fl oz. 120 bottles per delivery 4. Whitening shampoo 16 fl oz. 180 bottles per delivery 5. Never-Dull 120 5 oz. cans per delivery 6. Saddle soap for cleaning and preserving tack 7 fl oz bars. 60 bars per delivery 7. Neats Foot oil 32 fl oz. 30 bottles per delivery 8. Lexol 33.8 fl oz. 50 bottles per delivery 9. Small round sponges 12 Pk 1.1 lbs. 18 packs per delivery 10. Clippers, 45 watt. Detachable blade system. Durable carrying case plus #10 wide Cryogen-X blade, oil, grease, 12' cord, cleaning brush and blade guard. 1.94 lbs. 7 3/4 quote mark L x 3 quote mark W x 3 quote mark H. 4 sets per delivery 11. Roaching clippers. 4 sets per delivery 12. Water trough heaters that screw in the bottom of the trough. One delivery 15 heaters per delivery 13.
