Description
PAE Applied Technologies LLC (PAE) is contemplating the issue of solicitation IFB184B for XTLF 14-1028 Repair Street Lighting Base Wide as a Small Business set aside. Funds are not currently available and are not promised or guaranteed for this solicitation. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government or PAE should funding not be provided. In the absence of funding no contract will result. Should funds be provided, to be considered for award of this project a contractor must have satisfactory previous experience in the types of work contained in this solicitation and have a successful track record performing the types of work contained in the project? Vance AFB also has strict Base access regulations and commercial inspections are mandatory with each entry to the facility. The acceptance period for this action will be 60 Days and contractors should consider this impact to their bonding limits prior to bidding the solicitation. Provide all materials and labor to repair Base Street and parking lot lighting system. This consists of removing existing luminaires and replacing them with new ones in accordance with the lighting schedule on the drawings. Contractor will provide luminaires which meet IESNA lighting patterns (Types) shown on drawings, which can be mounted as shown on the drawings, and which are all of the same family type by the same manufacturer. The contractor will then remove existing luminaires and replace each with the particular unit indicated on the drawings, working in such a manner as to leave each day's work functioning as part of the existing system. NCICS 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors Small Business Size $15M Magnitude 300K-600K Estimated Solicitation Issue Date: June 12, 2015 Once issued, please refer to the Solicitation Documents Folder of the solicitation download in the file "Solicitation Offer and Award" to confirm the following dates Pre-Bid, June 26, 2015, 2 p.m. at Vance AFB, OK meeting will begin in Building 200 Conference Room 123. Bid Opening, July 07, 2015 at 2 p.m. to be held at Building 200 Conference Room 123. Both above dates are subject to change. Please verify prior to dates shown to assure the scheduled events will occur as stated here. Anyone planning on hand carrying a bid that does not already have a Base pass should contact Local Purchase via E-mail at teddy.thomas.ctr@us.af.mil and advise who will be carrying the bid. The individual(s) will need to plan on arriving at the Visitors Center at least 45 minutes prior to bid opening to avoid potential delay in accessing the facility. Valid driver's license and current insurance and registration for the vehicle being driven will also be required to be presented at time of arrival at the Visitors Center and prior to a Base pass being issued. Please note: All interested persons wishing to attend the, non-mandatory but highly recommended, Pre-Bid Meeting to be held at Vance AFB must provide the following information a minimum of five (5) days prior to the Pre-Bid Meeting. The individuals name as it appears on their Driver's License, Driver's License Number, Driver's License State of Issue and Date of Birth. Provide the above via E-mail to teddy.thomas.ctr@us.af.mil. Valid driver's license and current insurance and registration for the vehicle being driven will also be required to be presented at time of arrival at the Visitors Center and prior to a Base pass being issued. It is important that information be provided no later than the Thursday of the week prior to the Pre-bid meeting date. Failure to provide this information may result in not being given access to the facility. Questions or clarifications should also be directed to either E-mail address teddy.thomas.ctr@us.af.mil. IFB184B package is expected to be available on or about the Estimated Solicitation Issue Date shown above from the FBO Vance AFB page. After solicitation issue it is your responsibility to check FBO frequently for possible addenda or other items that may affect the solicitation.
