Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The contractor is to provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to retrofit four (4) Federal Pacific Electrical Panels in building 200 at Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, Hines Illinois. Panel circuits must have temporary panels installed so that disruption of service is kept to a minimum. Blood lab must be operational 24/7. This construction project is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB's). All prospective contractors must be verified on the Center for Veterans Enterprises (CVE) website, www.vetbiz.gov and the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov, to be considered for award. The solicitation will be posted on www.fbo.gov. The solicitation will be issued on or about 22 June 2015 and closed on or about 22 July 2015. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, of the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006 and pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to SDVOSB construction firms. The project magnitude range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210. After receipt of the Notice to Proceed, all work should be completed within the industry standard time for an effort of this magnitude.
