- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT to conduct market research for developing a procurement strategy for a possible upcoming opportunity entitled, quote mark Security Guard Services at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Chief Joseph Dam Project, Bridgeport, WA quote mark. The purpose of this notice is to measure the interest of Small Businesses (SB), 8(a), Small Disadvantage Business (SDB), Woman Owned Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or HUBZone prime contractor business sources and their size classifications relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 561612 quote mark Security Guards and Patrol Services quote mark (Size Standard of $20.5 Million) for the subject opportunity. The overall objective of the project is to provide Security Guard Services at Chief Joseph Dam and its designated properties to protect personnel and property against trespass, terrorism, sabotage, theft, arson, and other illegal acts. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, training, and other items/non-personal services necessary or the Contractor to perform Security Guard Services at Chief Joseph Dam and its designated properties. The majority of duties and responsibilities of the Guard Service shall be associated with staffing a security station, controlling access to the facility, patrolling around Chief Joseph Dam, and security reporting. The security station houses an intrusion detection alarm and video system, communication equipment, and remote controls for gate operations. Armed Security Guards shall be on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year including Federal Holidays. REQUIREMENTS: Provide the following in response to this sources sought synopsis: 1.Three examples of relevant projects involving Armed Security Guard Services performed within the past 5-10 years. Examples should include the following information: a.A description of the work; b.Dollar amount of the work; c.Location of the work d.Contact information for the past experience project. 2.Provide your company's name, address and CAGE code and/or DUNS number 3.Provide information regarding representation or certification as a Small Business (SB), 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman Owned Business (WOB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or HUBZone. Send your notice of interest to this project as soon as possible, but NO LATER than 2:00 pm (Pacific Time) on 04 June 2015.
