- Replace Asbestos Ceiling Panels in Buildings 2240, 2242, 2243, and 2260, USAG Bavaria, Grafenwoehr Military Community - Tower Barracks. This project consists of performing Asbestos remediation in the troop barracks to include dismounting the asbestos ceiling panels and insulation, and disposing of them properly. Afterwards, install a new ceiling and paint the ceiling and walls. Work also includes the dismounting and disposing of existing ceiling lighting, smoke detectors, and distribution boxes. Afterwards, install new ceiling lighting, smoke detectors, and distribution boxes. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. Magnitude of Work: $100,000 - $500,000. Time for completion is 90 calendar days, whereby a commencement time of 10 days is included. Work is to be performed in Germany and contractor must comply with German laws (e.g. authorization to do business in Germany). All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the Regional Contracting Office. Only local sources are solicited in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12).
