- Description
- The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) intends to solicit, negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to CDW-G, LLC, to perform and execute load testing services, including installation and configuration of load testing software on the contractor servers, analyzing site capacity and identifying performance bottlenecks, developing test scripts, running test scripts, generating reports, and making recommendations for performance improvements. TITLE: Load testing services on the ONE USDA eRecruit application. The critical feature is that this load testing program was written specifically for the USDA Program for hiring and entry on duty activities for the NTIS client agency USDA, and works with the existing application as employed by NTIS to support USDA. In 2013 through 2014, load testing on the application was completed. The load testing was instrumental in determining scalability, availability, integrity and confidentiality of the application. The development of use cases, test implementation plans, load design and reporting, ideally would be reused to provide the proper analysis of the application. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 541519 with the size standard of $27.5M. Product Service Code (PSC) is D306 Automatic Data Processing System Analysis Services. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13.106-1(b). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. Vendors who feel that they can provide the above requirement may submit a quotation and technical capabilities, which if received within ten (10) calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by NTIS. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
